I was raised in Odawara Japan with Secret Boxes and Mosaic Boxes. When I was a boy, my grandfather bought me a Secret Box that took 4 ways to open. I was glad. But, more than that, I envied my big brother who was given one that takes 7 movements to open. I like products that we can hold in our hands. I'd like to make products that have unique motion, and ones that feel good to touch. |

This work was designed as a Christmas present for 2009. This work, 'Tiger'
must be made from the Japanese raisin tree. The nose was made from the
material which remained after the chin was made. Walnut modeled the design
of the tiger. Sometimes troubling procedures need to be omitted. In last
year's 'Dona Dona' some troublesome procedures were omitted.was omitted. But

It was created as an Xmas Present for 2006. The appearance looks like a
standard type pillbox. But, when you open it, it moves in unexpected ways.
The designer gave priority to the "unexpected motion" rather than the inner
space when he designed it. But, a little device was added in the final step
