Miss Yamori	KY-14	"Yamori" means gecko in Japanese. A gecko is calmly resting on the box. The gecko is a symbol of wisdom, agility and adaptability. They are considered to be the mark of good luck. KIBOKO	K-13	This work was designed as a Christmas present for 2010. A hippopotamus is KIBOKO in Swahili. I like the sound of it. I wanted to express the shape of a hippopotamus by one plate. Spring Night	KY-7	One night in spring, a frog drinks sake. It's the cherry-blossom season. He enjoys watching a hazy moon and beautiful flowers in full bloom. My BUTTER	KY-6	Butter is made by solidifying fat in the milk. At normal temperature, butter is a white solid that is slightly tinted with yellow. The trick is simple. When the craftsman designed this work, she got the idea from the Hakone traditional Secret Box. (This work was designed as a Christmas present for 2008.) UMEKO	KY-4	There is a small zoo at the foot of Odawara Castle. There is one elephant in the zoo. There used to be a lot of animals there, but there is only an elephant, a monkey and a pigeon now. (This is one of the works that were developed for the cause of the concept to "make works associated with Odawara and Hakone".) I'm shy	KY-1	A turtle is on a box. When you touch his head… However shy he can’t hide himself enough. The motif is a Red-eared Turtle that the designer kept at school. At first he was so small and cute that we can put him on a hand. But now, he became too big. He is no longer he used to be. This work was designed at his present full-scale. He often goggles his eyes. He doesn’t look shy. But, he draws in his head, hands and feet when we bring our fingers close to him. The motion was also reproduced as a work.
