Card Case Karakuri (Fan)

G-8 It was created as a Christmas Present for 2007. It is a work of the Card Case series. 5 cards come out at the same time just like a magician deals the cards. There is a similar work that is part of the old Tabacco Tricks of Hakone works. This card case reminds us of the old Hakone work.

A Frying Pan

G-7 It was a frying pan that the craftsman associated with the theme of "Mother's Day". It was produced as a series of the card case with Karakuri. The craftsman tried to make a frying pan Karakuri that has interesting motion. By the way, what is the movement that seems to be a frying pan?

Card Case Karakuri (Momotaro)

G-6 It was created as an Xmas Present for 2006. The designer wanted to make a box that divide into two parts. The motion is unrelated to the main device. The designer had an image of "Momotaro". An old tale of a peach that divided and out came a boy. You can find a space to receive cards. But, you need to solve the work to take the cards out.

Chocolate of Heart

This is a Heart Type of his Karakuri card case series. It was created for the exhibition theme, St. Valentine’s Day. There are 2 thin drawers to put a card in. There isn’t any difference between the right side drawer and the wrong side drawer. In Japan, chocolate is a popular present women give to men on Valentine's day. But, there are 2 kinds of chocolate gifts. One is for her most beloved man, and the other is for her male friends as obligations. At the exhibition place, we’ll put 2 kinds of cards inside. One will say, “beloved” and the other ”obligation”. You can try!

Card Case Karakuri (Plane)

It was created as an Xmas Present of 2005. The appearance is a Japanese plane that is one of the Japanese traditional tools for woodwork. You need to put a card into the plane. When you move the plane on the plate just like you plane the plate really, the card comes out just like real wood shavings. The atmosphere is funny. The craftsman says, "I'm a craftsman. I feel the plane is just like a symbol of woodcraft. I really wanted to make it." This work is only for one card. We expected that this work develops as to be able to use more cards sequentially.
